Demo mode: Live API is off—results use a sample routine outcome with your quality scores and intake attached. Set NEXT_PUBLIC_SCAN_API_ENABLED=true and NEXT_PUBLIC_API_BASE_URL (e.g. local stub in services/api). FastAPI must allow this origin (CORS). Multipart: file (close-up), optional overview, intake, client_quality JSON strings.

Full-face context helps lighting and framing; a close-up helps the screening pass. You can use your camera or upload from your library.
